About JVE

Our school is one of the 103 elementary schools in the Baltimore County School System. Joppa View is located in Perry Hall on a beautiful tree-lined campus. The school opened in 1990 and is characterized by an emphasis on quality, child-centered education. The staff is a group of very dedicated educators who have created a nurturing learning environment. The school serves students in grades Pre-K through grade 5 and has a population of 556.

MISSION STATEMENT - We believe that all children can learn a challenging curriculum and demonstrate appropriate social skills in our nurturing school environment. The entire staff is committed to working collaboratively with parents to ensure school success for all of our children. We are preparing children to be independent creative thinkers who problem solve as productive members of a diverse society.
